The International Youth Festival of Ancient Drama focuses on the presentation of works of ancient Greek and Latin drama — both tragedy and comedy. Although non-competitive in nature, its primary aim is to introduce young people to ancient drama and to foster their connection with cultural heritage.

The festival seeks to offer students and young participants a meaningful engagement with the richness of ancient Greek dramaturgy and history — both as performers and as spectators, as well as through parallel educational activities that accompany the performances.
